Liability Waiver
I accept that any skin treatment I undergo is at my own risk. I certify that I will need to complete a medical history and personal liability consent form when I visit the salon, which will be keep on record for treatment reference.
I acknowledge that I will advise the staff or management of any medical or physical changes that may affect the outcome of the treatment. I understand that failure to disclose information requested may result in adverse side effect, to which I accept full liability and responsibility.
Although all necessary precautions and treatment protocols are followed unpredictable side effects may occur, including but not limited to, skin reactions such as redness, inflammation, blood pressure changes, and possible allergic reactions.
I expressly assume all risks to me associated with any service that I have booked and waive any claim which I might otherwise bring against The Goddess Beauty & Aromatherapy Salon, its management, directors, shareholders, employees, or contractors.
I acknowledge that neither The Goddess Beauty & Aromatherapy Salon management nor its employees are engaged in diagnosing or treating medical diseases or conditions.
Personal property Liability WaiverThe Goddess Beauty & Aromatherapy Salon shall not be responsible or liable for any article lost, stolen, or damaged during your visit to the salon.
Please ensure your jewellery is removed before your treatment and placed securely in your handbag. We take every care but no responsibility for your valuables.
Cancellation Policy An appointment reminder SMS or email will be sent to you 24 hours prior to your booking. This allows you to confirm, cancel, reschedule, or alter your appointment. Once you have confirmed your booking, we will be expecting you at the scheduled time.
No-shows and last-minute cancellations enormously disadvantage our business. They also mean that other clients cannot book those time slots that you have reserved with us. Also, all treatments include preparation for you before and after your treatment.
We understand that sometimes you need to change your appointment, but please do this in time for us to fill your booked time. To avoid any inconvenience, we kindly ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice so that we have time to inform our customers on the waitlist of availability. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. If you hold a gift voucher the cost of the booking will be deducted from your voucher. You will need to leave a credit card deposit for your next booking.
Arrival - Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment to fill in the consultation sheet, this allows for total relaxation in the treatment and ensures you will not lose any part of your service. If you are running late and we have a booking immediately after yours we may not be able to perform the full service, however, we will have to charge full fee. We will try to accommodate you as best we can, but please understand that we need to run on time to avoid inconveniencing our other clients.
Gift Voucher policy - In accordance with Australian Law, all gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. The dollar value is recorded and kept on record. From time to time the salon menu and pricing may change, for this reason the voucher represents a dollar value only, so you can use your voucher to have any treatment to the voucher’s dollar value or can be used for part treatment if you would like to upgrade your booking. No refund is offered once the gift voucher has been issued however gift vouchers are transferable to other people. The gift voucher number must be quoted at time of booking and must be presented on arrival to the salon. If you do not present your voucher on arrival, you will have to pay for the treatment on the day. Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase other gift vouchers. Any unused amount after the expiry date of the voucher will not be credited or refunded.
Product purchase policy - The products we stock are medical grade, and it is important to always use products as directed on the label. In the rare case that your skin becomes irritated or shows signs of an allergic reaction, please stop using the product immediately and call us on 02 94898740. We follow manufacturers protocol regarding a reaction. The manufacturer will ask for proof of a reaction, you may need to provide photographs and a medical certificate. Your documents will be referred to the manufacturer for advice and recommended action. Receipts must be provided as proof of purchase.
Return & Refunds Policy
The Goddess Beauty & Aromatherapy Salon staff want you to be totally satisfied with purchase. If you are not satisfied with it, we are here to help. Please choose your beauty products carefully as we do not refund or swap products, if you change of mind. Customers may receive either a refund, exchange, or credit where goods are proven to be faulty.

Privacy Statement - The management and staff of The Goddess Beauty & Aromatherapy Salon Beauty understands that privacy is important to you and wants your experience online to be as enjoyable and safe as possible. Our privacy policy describes how we handle your personal information generally and when you use the site.
Visitors to the website provide various kinds of information in several different ways. Some visitors choose to submit personal information through subscription and entry forms, gift voucher and product purchases or requests for more information, either through e-mails or phone calls or other methods. For various treatments, such as skin correction treatments etc we need to collect medical history and informed consent documents to provide you with a service which is safe and the best choice for you. This information may also assist us in delivering a better service and product to you. This information will be recorded by us and updated by when additional information is supplied or upon request from you.
Use of personal information
The personal information collected is to provide you with our services and to assist in making your experience with us a satisfying one. Information is also collected to establish and maintain proper business records.
Your personal information (with your prior approval) may also be used by The Goddess to notify you about new products and services and special offers from time to time.
All personal information collected is only made available to those authorised individuals who need to handle that information for the purposes outlined in this policy.
Removal from lists
If you do not want to receive e-mail, SMS or posted offers, please let us know by either informing us at the time of your visit or sending an e-mail message to info@thegoddess.com.au. Please provide us with your complete name, address, contact numbers and email address for us to best assist you.
Or if you follow the instructions for "un-subscribing" included as part of e-mail offers, your name will be removed from the mailing list for that publication/e-mail offer only.
Access and Corrections
You have a right to seek access to information that we hold about you (although there are some exceptions to this). You also have the right to ask us to correct information about you, which is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
If you wish to exercise your right under the Privacy Act to seek access to the personal information held by us, then you should address your request in writing to info@thegoddess.com.au
Please note that in the interests of protecting the privacy of all our customers, if you request details of any personal information held by us, we will need to identify you accordingly. To do this, we may require your current name and address (or any former addresses that may assist in identification) and a copy of a form of identification such as a current driver's licence or passport.
